Wrapping up The holiday weekend...

The weekend turned out to be pretty darn good, for starting it with no plans. Dinner with the musketeer's, A pancake breakfast, A cookout/bonfire, roasting of marshmellows and over tired kids. Strong drinks and good friends. and trading responsibility and chores (laundry will be there tomorrow), in order to scrabook a bit today.

And what did I design? Well for starters I began an 8x8 mini book based off the inspiration of the blog Unphotographable. I used this idea, instead of pictures, to tell the stories behind my favorite songs. You know, the songs in you life that bring back memories, that make you feel old, but only when you realize how long ago the song was popular. This is a paper scrapbook, so I don't think you'll be seeing too much of it on here (and my hand writing is wickedly bad, which also decreases the chances of it being seen by the general public.). Next I hopped back on the 'puter, to redesign this blog that hasn't been touched in almost 2 years (even I was surprised by this). See my new header (look up). It was made using stuff from the fabulous designer Vinnie pearce's kit "Placid" available at 2 peas in a bucket. And then I had fun digi scrapping a few photos of my Nephew, M. At 4 months old he's really starting to become much more interactive!
